Yin & Yang: Styling Black and White
We thought we would showcase our different personalities with our #wardrobewednesday post.
Most people think we are very similar, we both have red hair, we both are photographers, and both have English majors.
But we have a lot of differences too - Joanna is super tall while Jessica is really short. Joanna is a little sweeter and Jessica is a little edgy.
We've styled two outfits to showcase not only our personalities but the way to style these two fashion staples: white & black
Joanna created her yang-inspired look by pairing some classic Gap skinny jeans with a balloon sleeve H&M sweatshirt (we've linked a similar one below). She accessorized with some white Keds shoes and a tan Lucky Brand Purse. Leather and gold make some of the best neutrals, and she finished off her look with a dainty horizon necklace from Windblown Jewelry.

For her edgy yin look, Jessica wore a black oversized sweater from Target and paired it with Madewell high waisted jeans and a Michael Kors leather jacket. She sewed on the patch herself, but if you're not the sewing type, you can also re-create this look by finding an iron on patch and DIY-ing it at home. Lastly, she accessorized her look with a pair of combat boots and a gold Windblown Jewelry warrior necklace.
Don't forget Madewell always has sales with up to 30% off their clearance and if you shop in store use your student ID for an additional 15% off. And if you turn in a pair of jeans (any color, any brand) you get $20 off a new pair.
