Were you following along with our stories two weeks ago and saw all the craziness of Jessica's Unicorn Birthday Party? Well we've finally complied a blog with all the rainbow, magical goodness and how you can recreate it.
You know those people that start planning next year's Christmas the day after this year's? Well that's how I am when it comes to my birthday. The day after my Pretty in Pink 25th birthday party I started planning my unicorn themed one. (And yes I already have next year's theme picked out but I'm keeping it a secret... just don't go into my birthday box)
I began by styling my birthday look. Inspired by the glitter-ness of the Gypsy Shrine - I got their unicorn pack and started applying the glitter as generously as possible. I even tracked down this wall via Instagram to make sure I'd have some fun birthday photos.
I started my morning with a festive bowl of Corn Flakes.
All my unicorn decorations came from Target - including the straws, plates, napkins, cutlery, and candles.
Jessica's Unicorn Champagne Punch:
My signature party punch included
1. Whole bottle of champagne
2. 1/2 a bottle of Bacardi Rum
3. a half gallon of orange juice
4. 2-3 cans of La Croix (in lemon, lime, or grapefruit)
5. fresh lemons, grapefruits, and orange slices
My mom made the unicorn cake, macaroons, chocolate bark, and cupcakes.
My cake was half chocolate half funfetti with buttercream frosting. I decorated it with handmade candy and some rock candy, jawbreaker, and dots that I picked up in the Mast General Store in Asheville.
