I don't know about you but two of our favorite things are cooking & hanging with our friends. What better way than to combine the two with a hosting of a "Friendsgiving" dinner.
I know....how are you supposed to put together a meal for a whole group and find time to do everything else that's going on in your life?
No worries - we've found simple and delicious dishes that will take less than an hour for you to prepare and serve.
We paired with Midtown Olive Oil to create the perfect "Friendsgiving" feast with the simplicity of an everyday dinner.
1. Cut up your favorite fall veggies and sprinkle with Midtown Olive Oil & Vegetable seasoning. We chose:
2. Now toss in a pan and roast for 1 hour on 350 F
3. Take out and serve on a serving tray.
Who has all day to cook a turkey? We scored a pre-roasted rotisserie chicken and warmed it in the oven to get the skin a little extra crispy. Garnish with lemon and rosemary for a more sophisticated look.
Pasta is another simple dish to make. We boiled our favorite linguine noodles and combined with a Midtown Olive Oil pesto. Leave out fresh parm and a small grater for guests to customize their dish and you'll add a whole other level of fancy.
And you can't forget the bread! When it comes to bread we are on Oprah's level of appreciation. We went down to our local bakery - Boulted Bread - and snagged a fresh loaf with a rustic crunchy crust and soft middle. Put out dipping bowls to combine olive oil and dipping seasoning for party guests to share.
Our final dish was a simple Caprese Salad.
Combine fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil. Drizzle with Midtown Olive Oil Balsamic and enjoy!
